Recycled paper is produced from reused paper and therefore does not burden our forests. Furthermore, much less energy is usually used in the manufacturing process than is the case with normal, wood-based paper. Recycled paper can therefore be considered as an extremely climate-friendly material.

rPET (recycled polyethylene) is a food-grade, climate-friendly and reusable recycled plastic typically made from recycled water bottles. rPET has a high carbon content, and is therefore an effective carbon depot throughout the lifetime of the product and recycled products.

Cork is an extremely climate-friendly, biodegradable and compostable natural material that originates from cork oak. Cork is a rapidly regenerating resource that can be harvested every year from the same tree.

The Global Recycled Standard certification ensures that at least 50% of material is recycled in a final product. GRS also guarantees good working conditions and minimal content of harmful chemicals.
