Biodegradable and climate-friendly packaging made from Danish eelgrass that protects both the climate and your parcels. Can also be used as an alternative to hay or paper in gift baskets. The eelgrass doesn’t smell like seaweed, but has a mild scent of salt and hay. After use as a box filler, the seaweed can be reused in pots, window boxes or garden beds where it retains moisture, fertilizes with minerals, vitamins and nutrients and acts as a protective layer against weeds. The eelgrass is collected on the Danish coasts where it is collected and dried in the wind and sun – it is therefore not harvested from the seabed. Eelgrass is hypoallergenic and naturally resistant to rot and fungus. Supplied in boxes of approx. 8 kg.
