The hemp plant has strong fibers that can be used for textiles, threads, carpets and canvases that are durable and long-lasting. In addition, hemp, like wool, has natural anti-bacterial properties and requires significantly less water than, for example, cotton. Therefore, hemp is a good environmentally friendly material.
