The Ripasso process adds more structure and aroma to the wine than a regular Valpolicella. It has a nice deep ruby red color with a purple tinge and a full-bodied, aromatic scent of ripe dark berries and subtle spices. The taste is pure and develops complex fruit shades with velour and structure, and finishes harmoniously. An elegant Ripasso, ideal for polenta, pasta, risotto, meat or game dishes. 14.5% alcohol.
